Villas Tacul is Cancun's smallest, most exclusive resort. It is a gated community offering the outmost in personal service, comfort and privacy bordered by exquisite Caribbean coastline. Nine of the villas are right on the beach and 14 just steps away from the clear and calm turquoise waters of the Caribbean that is ideal for swimming, scuba diving and snorkeling all year round. Formerly the president's guest-house for visiting dignitaries, the resort is tastefully decorated, and the rooms spacious.
The resort offers 23 villas in a typical Mexican architectural design. The villas range from 1 to 5 bedrooms and all are air-conditioned and offer Satellite TV and direct dial telephone.
The one and two bedroom villas have small kitchens equipped with electric hot plates, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.
The three to five bedroom villas have kitchens equipped with electric hot plates (4 burners), full size fridge, microwave oven, coffee maker and toaster. All of the villas have complete dishes and silverware.
Outside, there is a large lagoon style shared swimming pool surrounded by gardens and palm trees. Additionally, the resort offers two tennis courts, a basketball court, volleyball court, ping-pong tables and playground for children.
The property has a lovely beach that offers swimming in the calm waters.
Additional amenities available for additional charges include car rental, safe deposit boxes, baby-sitting and cook service.
A delightful open-air restaurant is on the premises and offers authentic Mexican fare under the palapa. A complete food and beverage menu is available for room service as well.
