The Ohana villa is a unique property located on the beautiful and unspoiled island of Tobago. Located high up, it offers extensive and dramatic views of the ocean.
Ohana is Hawaiian for “family rest house” and the owners have ensured that this very special home is a haven of peace and quiet.
The vast living room is open to the bay, allowing ocean breezes to work their relaxing charms. Cream canvas shutters may be pulled down to provide restful shade for a nap on the over-sized teak day beds. Four upright armchairs, also, recline providing comfortable seating.
The kitchen is open and breezy and there is a view of the perfect little beach below. It is fully equipped with a double door-stainless steel fridge complete with filtered water and ice.
The villa has four bedrooms. The master suite has shuttered window and an en-suite bathroom with views of the ocean.
The second bedroom has its own veranda and it opens to the gazebo, Jacuzzi and swimming pools.
The third bedroom has a small private terrace overlooking the pond and gazebo. The fourth bedroom has twin teak four-poster beds (may be converted to a double if desired) and opens onto a courtyard, which provides a delightful and private tranquil oasis.
Below the villa is a beautiful beach (not private). Ohana guests have exclusive use of the steps through the garden down to the beach.
The villa has two housekeepers (live out) that care for the home and are available to do as much or as little shopping and cooking as desired.
Ohana is indeed a very special place, a place that refreshes the mind, as well as the body.
